Exciting News From a Crew Member
One of me mates recently told me that his fiance is expecting. I am so excited for the two of them. It couldn't happen to better crew mates, and I know they will make wonderful parents for their little first mate.
Hearing the news made me think about me little first mate and the first time I got to see him (not in person).
I was in awe that this little "soon-to-be crew member" was inside me and I loved watching him move and breathe. Seeing his heart beat was amazing.
I miss the feeling of having (what at times feels like) a little fish swimming around inside.
I am in no rush because I am greatly enjoying my little first mate and want to devote as much one-on-one time with him as possible, but someday I'd like to expand the crew and really try to record and memorize every moment of it all.
Having your own crew is a lot of fun, a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

Who's baby is that? Yours? Becuase if that is our mutual mates' baby, I'm going to be PISSED (that I wasnt passed a picture for my blog.)
OR is it an internet baby off of Google? Ha ha that's the kind of thing Id do: say I was expecting and then google serach to get an ultrasound pic for proof. Hee hee
That is my little first mate in the ultrasound. I think he looks a little creepy in the last picture because he's looking at the "camera".

Oh, let me clarify - the ultrasound photos were taken in March of '05. No new little first mates for me...not for a while.
My God, if I were pregnant now I'd be crying my eyes out! My little first mate is only 8 months old right now, I'm not ready for another one.
